Going broke over Grandma's Party?

My Grandma’s birthday is on October 31st and she is turning 70 years old. One of my older cousins decided that we the grandchildren should throw her a costume party. We have to give a hundred dollars each and that doesn’t include the present and I have to pay for a costume which is from + for adult costumes. Recently I told my cousin I couldn’t afford to give a hundred dollars because I am also paying for college. She got angry and claimed that a hundred dollars was cheap. Also I don’t even know where that hundred is going to, No one will tell me. My grandma has over 20 granchildren and you’re telling me we each have to give a hundred dollars?! How do I handle this situation? I am seriously going broke over here.
Also my Dad, Uncles and Aunties have to give 300 Hundred dollars each for my Grandma’s trip to the Carribeans.
Jaipaul D: What the hell is your problem? Didn’t I explain very CLEARLY that I couldn’t afford it. If I could just give her a hundred dollars then I wouldn’t even have to ask this question. Go be rude somewhere else.

Which costume would you choose to wear at department store job?

I just got a retail job this week and surprisingly their all planning to dress up if you;re schedule to work Halloween. I get my schedule tomorrow and i’m not doubting that i will be working on that day. I want to choose something cute, comfortable (not too sexy or revealing), and fun. I’m 23, 5’7"-5’8" and 150lbs (average/curvy). Althought my supervisor seems laid back about the whole dress up thing, i know they don’t want anything too racy. So i’m afraid to get anything with the slightest cleave or above the knee..But i hate to waste my money on something i really don’t care for especially if i’m off that day or off for the night. If i’m off at night i want to go out with my boyfriend. I want to spend 20-39 (cheap) but i don’t want to look cheap to fitted too tight.

Which one would you choose? And why? I have fishnets, black low pumps, and black nail polish.

Inexpensive Halloween costume ideas?

I usually make my kids costumes because I like them to be original. But I have 5 kids and only one costume done. I can hand stitch or use sewing glue but my sewing machine is broken so nothing too complex. I am also a bit strapped for cash as we are saving for a down payment and deposits due November. I have looked through many websites but either don’t like the ideas or have already done them. Do you have any personal recommendations or maybe a site that isn’t as obvious as just searching "homemade/cheap costumes?"

The kids are twin girls 6 –one will be major cutie (g.i. jane)
two boys 2 & 4

Then there is a 13 year old girl who is going to a costume party.

My husband and I usually participate as well so feel free to mention adult costumes too.

Yeah, I think the costumes are funner for me than anything. The kids have won costume contests since the very first time I made them. I usually go all out though and start in July and spend more making them than a store bought one. They do use them year round as dress up clothes but as things are different this year and my machine broke, that’s just not an option this year with the exception of the one I already finished.
Halloween is also my birthday (and mom’s and her mom’s too!) It has always been my favorite holiday and yes I am Christian. I am actually insulted by those who try to act like you can’t be Christian and enjoy Halloween.

My company is doing an office competition for Halloween and our department is doing 1980′s Saturday Morning commercials. =) I’m thinking of either Rainbow Brite or Strawberry Shortcake for my costume. Can anyone recommend any good websites that sell adult costumes for relatively cheap with fast delivery? Thanks!!

Halloween Costume help!?
I don’t know any shop that sells Halloween costumes other than Toys R Us , which doesn’t have young adult/teenager/adult costumes this year cause’ they forgot to order it. So anyone knows any shop that sells? Please, I’m really desperate. I have a Halloween Party to go to. Or at least a site that sells cheap costumes and can deliver to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It really would be fascinating if there’s a werewolf/vampire/zombie costume. But it’s okay if it’s something else, as long as it’s a costume! :)
Or some simple steps that I can use to make one.
