My daughter is turning one on 9/24 (celebrating on 9/26). I know her party doesn’t need to be a big deal, but we have a lot of family members who don’t get to see her very often and a lot of church friends with babies and children who will be coming (we’re having it at the church), so it is becoming a bit large…I’m guessing randomly (still waiting for RSVPs) about 40-50 people at least, half children, half older teens and adults.

I was thinking a jungle/safari theme. I also like a storybook theme, since she is obsessed with books, but I figured that’s better for when she is older. I just want to find somewhere online (I’ve been having some medical issues which make it hard for me to shop around at a lot of stores in person) I can buy the following items pretty cheap:

-A basic banner, some streamers, balloons for decorations.
-Plates for appetizers and cupcakes, napkins, plastic table cloth and cups for drinks.
-Favor bags or boxes.
-Favors to put in (I was thinking bubbles, stickers, maybe little animal figurines or plushes big enough that babies can’t swallow, or some mini-coloring books and crayons).
-Maybe a hat for the birthday girl, but she’ll probably just take it off, so maybe not.

Also, where is the best place to get helium to blow up balloons? Is it cheaper to buy the balloons separately and then get the helium to blow them up or cheaper just to go to a store, pick out balloons and have them blown up there?
